Sugarbush

Two uncrowded mountain areas. And 2,000 acres of backcountry in the Slide Brook Basin. It’s no surprise Sugarbush was named “Best Ski Town in the East” by Outside Magazine. At the heart of Sugarbush is Lincoln Peak—Here you’ll find the majority of Sugarbush terrain with classic New England trails leading to the nascent Lincoln Peak Village which includes Clay Brook slopeside hotel and residences, a general store, casual and elegant dining, and the new Schoolhouse and Farmhouse. Mt. Ellen - is home to Vermont’s highest chairlift, a rippin’ terrain park, and a variety of woods and bump terrain. We think of it as our “hidden gem.”

Mad River Glen - MRG

Mad River Glen offers the most challenging and diverse terrain in New England with an uphill capacity that guarantees low skier density on the trails even on the busiest days. It is one of the last bastions of natural snow skiing in New England. Trails were cut to follow the mountain’s natural contours and skiers can descend the entire 2,037' of vertical on true expert terrain with absolutely no run-outs. The mountain's layout with single base area makes it ideal  for families. The character, the result of a long and proud history, reflects the terrain and natural beauty.

Jay Peak Resort Conditions

Our approach to skiing and riding is pretty simple; approach the business of skiing and riding from the perspective of the skier and rider. That is, make big mountain skiing and riding affordable (and that market share will always trump yield). Have enough in the way of bells and whistles to compliment the skiing and riding, not replace or detract from it. Early openings and late closings are important. And that first Tram always trumps last call.
