The 2026 Nordica Unleashed 114 returns with a graphic update but remains structurally unchanged. By following the same overall character and design from the 98 and 108, the 114 opens a new realm of deep snow performance for expert skiers who are looking to make the most out of their time in big mountain terrain. We’re still seeing these skis pop up on the Freeride World Tour, so there’s some pro-level athletes finding the benefits of this ski in a competitive format. Unleashed has been at the top of our list for a few years now, and it continues into 2026. While in the past, skis with more rocker were typically viewed as better for deeper snow and technical terrain, there’s been a shift to longer running lengths and more effective edge, especially when it comes to high-end skiing. Basically, they’re taking a wider, more race-like style of ski and putting it into a big mountain format. There’s no arguing about results, as this type of ski works. You do, however, have to be ready to put in the work as these skis must be driven precisely and firmly by strong skiers. This makes for a high-end ceiling and a pretty specific ski.
