We Grow With You -
Our seasonal rental program was designed with growing kids in mind. If your child outgrows their equipment during the season, we will refit your child with the next size up, no charge!
*Same price category refit required. Subject to equipment availability.
We recognize that everyone eventually would like to own their gear. Our Rewards Program is designed to help our seasonal rental customers make the transition from our rental program into owning equipment. We will credit participants $20 per consecutive season rented toward the purchase of a new pair of skis or a new snowboard.
**Ask at Alpine Shop for program details and restrictions.
Free Tuning All Season-
We keep your gear performing great! Bring in your seasonal rental equipment anytime for a sharpen/wax or maintenance checkup - absolutely FREE!
A damage waiver is available for only $15 - $25. *** The waiver covers accidental damage or breakage of rented equipment. The damage waiver does not cover equipment theft or loss.

Frequently Asked Questions:
How long does it take to get fitted?
It takes around 15-20 minutes for us to go through the whole process of fitting each person.
What is the turnaround time for me to get my ski package?
After you've been fitted, our shop will make the proper adjustments to your skis or snowboard, and they will be ready for pick up in one week.
When do you start to run out?
We encourage everyone to come in as early as possible; being that rental season opens late August, the highest quality skis and boards tend to go out first. We have over 10,000 skis and snowboards but still try to come in sooner for the largest selection and best quality!
When is the best time to beat the crowd?
We recommend coming in anytime during the week or bringing your kids to get fitted after school! Weekends and school holidays tend to be busier with a longer wait time. November and December are also super busy so come in late summer or early fall.
Why is our seasonal or daily rental non-refundable?
There are large labor, operational and equipment costs that we incur prior to you receiving your rental equipment. We keep our rental prices as low as possible to make skiing and riding affordable for families and those prices barely cover our up-front costs.
Is our rental refundable if it is a bad snow year or ski resorts are closed for some of the time they are normally open?
No; see answer above. In addition, there are always risks associated with skiing or riding that are out of our control. Some mountains may open up for only a few weeks or months due to lack of snow or possibly a pandemic like Covid 19. However, it is extremely unlikely that the 6 nearby ski resorts will not have some skiing during their 5 month seasons.
Do you have new, higher performance skis for seasonal rentals?
Yes, these skis fall into our "Upgrade" category but we have a limited quantity so come in early for the best selection.
Can you rent helmets?
We don't rent helmets, and we encourage everyone to buy their own helmet. Renting helmets can be risky for safety reasons.
How old can my child start renting?
When your children start skiing depends more on their size than their age. If your children can fit safely and comfortably into a pair of ski boots, you can begin to teach them to ski!
Are there any other options besides renting to get great skis for my kids?
We know that children grow rapidly, and renting is often the most practical option until they stop growing. However, if you would prefer to buy brand new equipment for your child rather than rent, we sell higher performance kid's skis and boots in our retail showroom.
What is the cost of the rental program?
Rental prices vary by age rather than by the size of the equipment. Ages 6 and under rent at our child prices, ages 7-13 at our junior prices and 14 and older are adults. See above for a more specific list of our rental prices!
